Horse of the Week Poll: Traverse City

Five horses delivered across the Qualifier, Team Competition and Grand Prix at Leg 2. Now it’s your turn to decide who takes Horse of the Week.

Traverse City gave us plenty to choose from. From individual wins and Grand Prix clears to the rounds that helped decide Team Day, five horses have earned a place on the Leg 2 Horse of the Week ballot.

My Clementine My Clementine and Nina Mallevaey put together a week to remember in Traverse City. The pair started with a third place finish in the 5* Qualifier before returning Saturday to produce a double clear and claim the $340,000 World Wide Technology 5* Grand Prix. Even more impressive, it was only My Clementine’s second ever 5* Grand Prix.

Greya Kent Farrington and Greya returned to the same venue where they won the Grand Prix in Season 5 and once again delivered when it counted. The pair jumped double clear in Saturday’s 5* Grand Prix, finishing just 0.10 seconds behind the win to take second.

Gemma W Last to go and one time to beat. Gemma W and Daniel Bluman delivered under pressure in Thursday’s 5* Qualifier, producing a double clear and stopping the clock at 36.49 seconds to take the opening win of Leg 2.

Knass B With Team Competition gold on the line, Knass B and Cassio Rivetti came through for Team KPF. The pair jumped clear in the gold medal match, stopping the clock at 33.05 seconds to secure KPF’s first Team Competition win of Season 6.

Candy Candy and Karl Cook played a key role in Team KPF’s road to gold. The pair jumped double clear across the Team Competition, including the fastest clear round of Round 2, helping send KPF through to the gold medal match and ultimately their first team victory of the season.
