Farrington’s Winning Formula: Unmatched Consistency and Relentless Dominance

The opening leg of Major League Show Jumping 2025 set the tone for the season, and Kent Farrington wasted no time making his mark.

Aboard Greya, he jumped clear in the Qualifier but withdrew from the jump-off, saving her for the $340,000 B&D Builders CSI5* Grand Prix. The strategy paid off in spades as the pair blazed to victory, posting the only jump-off time under 39 seconds and clinching Greya’s fourth CSI5* Grand Prix title of the year. It was also their second triumph in Traverse City in the past twelve months, reinforcing their reputation as one of the most formidable combinations in the sport.

Farrington’s weekend didn’t stop there. Partnering with Garrison, a newer mount in his string, he delivered a flawless double clear in the 1.50m Winning Round — an impressive result as the pair continue to build their partnership.

After a hot streak of three consecutive wins, Farrington’s results pushed him past $1.5 million in FEI prize money for the year, solidifying a season defined by precision, consistency, and unrelenting pace. With Greya producing a 75% clear round rate at 1.60m in 2025 and 20 FEI wins already on the board, the championship fight is far from over — but Farrington has made it clear he’s in it to win it.
