Season 5 of Major League Show Jumping (MLSJ) launched in Traverse City, MI, with three days of high-stakes sport and performances that set the tone for the year ahead.
Thursday – Bluman Opens the Season with a Win
Daniel Bluman (ISR) and Hummer Z wasted no time making a statement, taking the $63,000 ClipMyHorse.TV CSI5* Qualifier in decisive fashion. Topping a 10-horse jump-off in 39.94 seconds, Bluman also gave Maccabi United an early points boost under MLSJ’s new season format.
Friday – Helios Strikes Gold First
Helios looked every bit the defending champions in the $312,500 Cabana Coast CSI5* Team Competition. Double clears from Rene Dittmer (GER) and Michael Duffy (IRL) set the stage for Roberto Teran Tafur (COL) to seal the deal in the gold medal faceoff.
Saturday – Farrington Flies in the Grand Prix
World No. 1 Kent Farrington (USA) and Greya delivered a masterclass in the $340,000 B&D Builders CSI5* Grand Prix. Against 15 in the jump-off, they stopped the clock with the fastest time of the night to claim the week’s headline win.
