Season 5 of Major League Show Jumping reached its conclusion in Monterrey, where Club Hípico La Silla hosted the Finals for the first time in league history.
With double points on the line and championships still undecided, the final leg delivered three days that reshaped standings and closed the season at the sport’s highest level.
Thursday opened with a major result for Canada.
Chris Pratt and Ideaal ES captured the $181,200 5* Qualifier after a fast and composed jump-off performance on the expansive grass field at La Silla. The victory marked one of Pratt’s biggest wins in recent years and added important points for the Northern Lights at a critical stage of the standings.

Friday belonged to Maccabi United.
After leading the standings throughout much of the season, the team officially secured the Major League Show Jumping Season 5 title in Monterrey. Daniel, Mark and Ilan Bluman delivered another composed performance under pressure, reinforcing the consistency and team dynamic that defined their campaign from start to finish.
The Final Team Competition also confirmed the closing order of the championship standings, with the Trelawny Trailblazers finishing second overall and the Roadrunners securing third.

Saturday brought the final Grand Prix and the conclusion of the individual championship race.
Rodrigo Pessoa and Prins van’t Eigenlo secured victory in the $750,000 GNP Seguros 5* Grand Prix after an elite jump-off performance against one of the strongest fields assembled all season.
At the same time, Kent Farrington’s podium finish with Descartes SR proved enough to secure his second MLSJ individual title. After entering Monterrey within striking distance of the standings lead, Farrington closed the gap in Finals to finish the season on top.

Monterrey delivered a fitting conclusion to Season 5.
Historic venues, championship pressure and world-class competition came together across a Finals week that reflected the continued growth of Major League Show Jumping.
From Kentucky’s debut after the winter break to the crucial closing rounds in Mexico, the final stretch of the season reinforced how quickly momentum can shift at the highest level of the sport.
