The 2025/26 Major League Show Jumping season is just around the corner, but which teams will be competing in this year’s competition?

As in 2024, eight sides are set to take part, though there is one change from last term’s edition.

Eye Candy have been replaced by Rainmakers, who will feature a line-up of riders that includes Samuel Hutton and Jessica Mendoza from Great Britain, as well as Qatar’s Faleh Suwead Al Ajamam Ireland’s Jordan Coyle and a pair of Americans — Elena Haas and Skylar Wireman.

Reigning champions Trailblazers are back for 2025, led by Team Manager Cara Raether-Carey. They’ll be looking to match their impressive 136-point tally again this time around — and may fancy their chances of doing just that, with Individual Standings table-topper Conor Swail (77 points) still in their ranks.

But Roadrunners weren’t too far behind Trailblazers with 122 points, so can certainly harbor hopes of closing the gap at the Team Standings’ summit.

Elsewhere, Maccabi United and Northern Lights were only separated by a point last season, putting 115 and 114 on the board, respectively.

They each enjoyed success at different events in 2024, with Maccabi United putting in a league-leading performance at Greenwich and Northern Lights placing first in Ottawa.

Both those teams will consider themselves to be in the title hunt this year, as may Archers. They placed just behind in fifth (108 points) and go into the upcoming campaign with a rider roster of Alex Matz, Beezie Madden, Callie Schott, Amy Millar, Nicola Philippaerts and Francisco Goyoaga Mollet.

Helios and Team KPF complete the divisional line-up, with their Team Managers — Helena Stormanns and Claudio Baroni — hoping to oversee improved seasons in 2025/26.

The competition is set to be fierce when the campaign gets underway, then, when Traverse City hosts the first show from 7th-10th August.
