Kentucky Fantasy Team
Here are your selected riders from Leg 8:
Kent Farrington added another statement win to his Season 5 campaign, capturing his third Major League Show Jumping Grand Prix victory of the year. This time, it came aboard the nine year old Descartes SR, who was making his 5* Grand Prix debut and looked every bit ready for the big stage.
Mark Bluman opened the week on top, taking the 5* qualifier win aboard Landon De Nyze. The victory marked his second 5* qualifier win of Season 5 as Bluman continues to deliver week after week.
Olympic Champion Christian Kukuk started his Kentucky week in strong form with a double clear performance that earned third place in the 5* qualifier. Cool, consistent, and always in the mix, Kukuk once again showed why he remains one of the sport’s biggest threats.
Thaisa Erwin stayed flawless for Team Maccabi United in Kentucky, delivering another double clear effort to help the team secure silver at Leg 8. Through every team appearance in Season 5, Erwin has yet to lower a rail for Maccabi United.
Abdel Saïd delivered when the pressure peaked in Kentucky. After producing a clear round in round one for the Trelawny Trailblazers, Saïd returned for the gold medal jump off and locked in the Leg 8 victory with another clutch performance.
Kentucky marked the league’s return from the winter break and set the tone for the final stretch.
Selections from this leg reflected riders who re-established momentum at a critical point in the championship race.
Monterrey Fantasy Team
