Season 5 in Toronto
Maccabi United left Toronto with the win and went on to finish Season 5 as Champions.
Toronto proved to be an important stop on Maccabi United’s road to the Season 5 title. They took the win over the Trelawny Trailblazers, adding valuable points to a campaign that would ultimately see them crowned MLSJ Champions in Mexico.
The Trailblazers finished runner up in Toronto before going on to finish second in the overall championship, making the Toronto podium an early preview of how the season would finish at the top.
The battle for third went to the Rainmakers, who defeated Helios in the bronze medal match to complete the podium.
Now, all eight teams return to Toronto with the standings reset and the first team points of Season 6 on the line.
