Tryon, NC—Major League Show Jumping’s (MLSJ) 14-day transfer window opened on Monday and saw eleven new athletes join The League for the second half of the 2025 season, which starts today at Tryon International.
After a midway stop at Highlands Horse Show in New York, MLSJ teams use two weeks to recruit new talent and stack their rosters for the remaining events of the 2025 season, including stops in California, Kentucky and season final in Monterrey.
The current leaders in the season standings—Maccabi United—left their lineup relatively untouched with one addition in Ireland’s Paul O’Shea. A stalwart member of former franchise Eye Candy, O’Shea returns to The League under the flag of a Bluman-fueled Maccabi United. Nipping at the heels of Maccabi United in the season standings, the Trelawny Trailblazers also leave their formula of proven success intact with one adjustment to their roster in the addition of world no. 18 Abdel Saïd (BEL).
Currently sitting third overall, Helios—led by world no. 5 Richard Vogel (GER)—leaves their Roster the same for the second half of the season.
“As The League enters the second half of its fifth season, the talent on these teams gets better and better,” said MLSJ co-founder Keean White. “The rosters now include 10 of the top 20 riders in the world and 40 of the 48 team riders are ranked within the top 250. MLSJ gains more momentum each year, and as we attract more talent from Europe and some of the best riders in North America, we can wait to see what the second half of this season brings.”

Team KPF is anchored by world no. 1 Kent Farrington, and within striking distance of the top three in the standings. Hoping to finish the season strong, they have called up four-time Canadian Olympian Mario Desluariers. Adding some U.S power to their roster, the Desert International Horse Park (DIHP) Roadrunners tapped Olympic team silver medalist and world no. 8 Laura Kraut, as well as up-and-coming phenom Elisa Broz.
The Rainmakers are the newest franchise to MLSJ and have padded their roster with U.S. Olympic team silver medalist and returning League rider Karl Cook with his string of competitive mares.
Coming off a team victory at MLSJ Hudson Valley, the Archers add USA’s Aaron Vale, currently ranked within the world’s top 40.
Normally fueled by Canadian power, the Northern Lights saw a major shakeup to their lineup, adding young talent in Ansgar Holtgers, Jr. (USA) and world no. 19 Nina Mallevaey (FRA), as well as Kyle Timm (CAN) and U.S. Olympian Jessica Springsteen.
The second half of the season kicks off this week at Tryon International before continuing to Desert International Horse Park in Palm Springs, CA, in December. The new year brings The League to a new stop at the Kentucky International in Lexington, KY, before culminating in the MLSJ Final at Club Hípico La Silla in Monterrey, MEX, for the presentation of long awaited season-end titles and bonus money.
