This week’s nominees

Descartes SR

The 9-year-old gelding Descartes SR made a memorable 5* Grand Prix debut at Leg 8. Producing a double-clear performance, he set the tone as pathfinder in the jump-off and handled the pressure with composure beyond his years.

High Star Hero

High Star Hero, a proven 5* Grand Prix winner, once again delivered when it counted. Piloted by Mclain Ward, the 13-year-old gelding produced a fast double clear, ultimately finishing second in a tightly contested jump-off.

James Kann Cruz

A regular presence on the MLSJ 5* Grand Prix podium, James Kann Cruz secured his third podium finish of the season. Known for his consistency at the top level, the gelding delivered another competitive double clear, finishing just fractions off the winning pace in third.

Una Mariposa

Una Mariposa has continued her upward trajectory since making her 5* Grand Prix debut at Leg 7. After opening the week with a fifth-place finish in the 5* Qualifier, the mare carried that form into the Grand Prix, producing a strong double clear to finish fourth.

Chagrin D’Amour

Chagrin D’Amour represented the Trelawny Trailblazers in the 5* Team Competition, stepping confidently into the Rolex Stadium atmosphere. The stallion delivered a double-clear performance, playing a key role in securing the team’s victory.
