The fourth leg of Major League Show Jumping brought world-class sport to New York’s Hudson Valley, marking the debut of the Highlands Cup.
Across three days, the action unfolded under perfect fall skies, as top riders delivered intense sport and unforgettable moments.
From a Friday’s Qualifier to a high-stakes Team Competition and a Grand Prix finale that came down to tenths of a second, Highlands offered a complete display of talent and precision.
Friday: Skylar Wireman opens with BrainJuice Qualifier win
Skylar Wireman set the tone for the weekend by winning the $62,480 BrainJuice 5* Qualifier aboard Barclino B.
The young American rider delivered a fast and flawless jump-off round in 36.71 seconds, securing her 12th international win of the season and valuable points for the Rainmakers.
Saturday: The Archers take gold in the Team Competition
The Archers delivered a strong performance in the $262,500 ClipMyHorse.tv 5* Team Competition.
Consistent clear rounds from Callie Schott and Alex Matz led the team to a decisive victory in the gold medal round, ahead of the Season 4 champions, The Trelawny Trailblazers.
Sunday: Rene Dittmer captures the Highlands Cup Grand Prix
Germany’s Rene Dittmer concluded the weekend on a high, claiming the $340,000 5* Grand Prix of Highlands with Corsica X.
Dittmer edged out Gregory Wathelet and Ace Of Hearts, while Shane Sweetnam and James Kann Cruz completed the podium in third.
